Western Control & Automation Pvt. Ltd. manufactures and supplies high-quality LT and HT electrical panels, VCB panels, Compact Substations, and Power Distribution systems. Given the engineered and project-specific nature of our products, our shipping and return terms are structured accordingly. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

Order Confirmation & Processing

  • Valid Purchase Order (PO): All orders require a confirmed Purchase Order to commence production or dispatch.
  • Advance Payment: Production begins only after receipt of the agreed advance payment as per the payment schedule outlined in the purchase agreement.
  • Design Finalisation: For custom-engineered panels, all specifications, single-line diagrams, and panel configurations are approved in writing before manufacturing begins. Changes requested after production commences may affect timelines and costs.

A. Delivery Timelines

Delivery timeline for LT Panels, HT Panels, VCB Panels, RMU Panels, and Compact Substations shall generally be 4–6 weeks from the date of order confirmation, subject to:

  • Receipt of valid Purchase Order
  • Advance payment as per agreed terms
  • Final approval of drawings/specifications
  • Availability of bought-out components/OEM switchgear
  • Site readiness, wherever applicable

For turnkey/project orders, the final delivery, erection, and commissioning schedule shall depend on the approved project scope, site readiness, and mutually agreed execution timeline.

B. Shipping & Freight

  • Dispatch Location:All products are dispatched from our manufacturing facility at B-817-A, Phase-3, RIICO Industrial Area, Bhiwadi, Rajasthan – 301019.
  • Freight Charges:Applicable freight charges are communicated at the time of quotation. For oversized or heavy equipment (substations, HT panels), special transport arrangements may be required and will be quoted separately.
  • Pan-India Delivery:We supply across all major cities and industrial zones in India. For Rajasthan projects, we operate as an A-Class Contractor and can undertake complete site delivery and commissioning.

C. Dispatch Documentation

  • All dispatches are accompanied by a delivery challan, test reports, operation & maintenance manuals, and warranty documents as applicable.
  • Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) certificates, type test reports (CPRI/NABL accredited), and thirdparty inspection documents are provided where included in the scope.
  • The customer is informed of the dispatch date and transporter details prior to shipment.

D. Site Readiness

  • For supply-and-install or turnkey contracts, the customer is responsible for ensuring civil readiness — including foundations, cable trenches, and site access — before the agreed delivery date.
  • Delays arising from inadequate site preparation will not be attributed to Western Control & Automation Pvt. Ltd.

E. Force Majeure & Delays

  • Delivery schedules may occasionally be affected by raw material shortages, OEM supply delays, natural calamities, or government restrictions beyond our control.
  • In such events, we will notify the customer promptly with revised timelines. Western Control & Automation Pvt. Ltd. shall not be held liable for penalties or losses arising from such delays.
2. Return & Refund Policy

Western Control & Automation Pvt. Ltd. manufactures all products in compliance with IEC 61439-1&2 (LV assemblies) and IEC 62271 (MV assemblies) standards and conducts Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) prior to every dispatch. We are committed to resolving any quality concern professionally and promptly.

A. Returns / Claims Allowed Only in Limited Cases

Return or claim shall be considered only in case of:

  • Manufacturing Defect
  • Specification Mismatch: against approved drawings/PO
  • Transit Damage: reported within the specified timeline with supporting photographs/documents

In case of manufacturing defect or specification mismatch, Western Control & Automation Pvt. Ltd. shall review the issue and, wherever applicable, arrange for rectification, replacement of defective components, refitting, or dispatch of corrected material at site, at its discretion.

B. Products Not Eligible for Return

  • Custom-Engineered Panels: All LT and HT panels manufactured to customer-specific drawings, ratings, or configurations are non-returnable once accepted at FAT or upon delivery.
  • Installed / Commissioned Equipment: Products that have been energised, commissioned, or put into service and subsequently damaged due to incorrect operation, overloading, external faults, or site conditions.
  • Modified Products: Equipment tampered with or modified by any party other than Western Control & Automation Pvt. Ltd. or its authorised personnel.
  • Consumable Items: Fuses, indicating lamps, or auxiliary components that are consumed during normal operation

C. How to Raise a Return or Warranty Claim

  • Contact our team within 7 days of delivery for physical damage or specification mismatch issues.
  • For manufacturing defects identified during commissioning, raise the claim within the warranty period as specified in your purchase agreement.
  • Submit your claim to info@westerncontrol.net or call +91 76655-55888 with your order reference number, a written description of the issue, and supporting photographs or video documentation.
  • Our technical team will respond within 3–5 working days with an assessment and proposed resolution.

D. Warranty

  • Products carry a standard warranty against manufacturing defects — typically 12 months from commissioning or 18 months from dispatch, whichever is earlier, as agreed in the purchase contract.
  • Warranty support includes on-site inspection, repair, or replacement of defective components at our discretion.
  • The warranty does not cover damage from incorrect installation, overloading, external short circuits, voltage surges, flooding, fire, or any cause not attributable to a manufacturing deficiency.

E. Refund Process

  • Where a return is approved and a refund is applicable, it will be processed within 10–15 working days after the product is received and inspected at our facility.
  • Refunds are transferred via NEFT/RTGS to the bank account from which original payment was received. Applicable freight and handling costs may be deducted.

F. Order Cancellations

  • Orders may be cancelled without penalty within 48 hours of Purchase Order submission, provided manufacturing has not commenced.
  • Post that, cancellations are subject to recovery of costs already incurred — including materials procured, design completed, and OEM components ordered.
  • For turnkey project orders, cancellation terms are governed by the signed project agreement.
